Plano concave lens has a concave surface. It has a negative focal length. It is typically used to expand light or increase the focal length in existing systems.
Availability:

The plano concave lens has a concave surface on one side and a plano surface on the other side and with a negative focal length. It is usually used for beam collimation, increasing (decreasing) focal length, or enlarging (reducing) images. In order to obtain a smaller spherical aberration, when the incident beam is a collimated beam, the collimated beam should be incident onto the concave surface of the plano concave lens.

Plano concave lenses with negative focal length are commonly used in imaging or beam collimation applications, and coated lenses are also widely used in visible and near-infrared applications.
